Organizer’s description

Write Real Early is a writing practice. Here's how it works: We begin at 7 am SHARP. We introduce ourselves by first name only and then the facilitator reads the Rules for Writing. Facilitator offers a prompt and we write for a certain amount of time. You can write any genre – personal essay, fiction, memoir, creative non-fiction or even poetry. You can use the prompt or not use the prompt, use only part of the prompt – whatever gets you writing. We encourage you to share what you've written, but no pressure. Here's the best part, there is no critique or feedback from the group. Write, read, and continue on your day. You'll be surprised how committing to a one hour, weekly writing practice helps your creativity. Don't forget to bring your favorite writing utensils – notepad & pen, laptop, tablet or even the back of a paper bag. Lestat’s is generously allowing us to meet in their space, and we encourage you to grab a coffee or a snack either before or after our Meetup. Please remember we start at 7 am sharp and allow enough time for your purchase before we begin each Wednesday. Thanks!
