West Mount Falcon ~5 mi Loop

We're heading to Indian Hills and this wonderful hike full of expansive overlooks. We start on the wide Castle trail, then turn right onto Parmalee Gulch. We follow this all the way around with views south and east, then climb back up to Castle. Here we turn right to extend our hike to the Devil's Elbow spur and return. From here we climb to the summit of Mt. Falcon and the overlook station tower, taking in the 360 views. Next we continue down the trail to the parking lot. Dogs allowed on leash. The top lot is where we will meet, at the trailhead. Please consider carpool since the small lot fills quickly. There is a horse trailer/overflow lot before the top lot that is nearby. This trail is rated Intermediate with mix of easier/harder sections. Elevation gain is ~650. Brunch after for anyone interested as always 😉.
