Vainglorious II

JFK aka 'Live in Leeds' Presents... Last year THE VAYNES played their 'FINAL' show. - Stevie's VAINGLORIOUS book launch was a huge success. The band was on top form... so much so, that we had countless requests to "do it again". It was a pleasure to see all the 'old' faces from the Leeds rock scene of the 80s and 90s, a truly memorable and nostalgic evening. Due to the demand, we've managed to coax The Vaynes back out of retirement... Here it is - VAINGLORIOUS II - Starting at 7pm on Friday 30th October with an opening set at 7:45 from BILLY MASTERS of ‘FAKE’. – The VAYNES headline following THE ROSE OF AVALANCHE and an All-Star line-up of our local rock and punk heroes: THE GLORIOUS ONES featuring Stevie Hulme (The Vaynes) - Dee Dee Glorious (The Outlaw Cowboys) - Wolfie (Red Lorry Yellow Lorry / The Mission) - Mark Thompson (The Rose of Avalanche) - Stan Greenwood (Skeletal Family / Lena Lovich). Your MC for the evening is IRENE BENDLER of UNSTABLE. The show has had a radical re-think, because of the date we’re making it into a HALLOWEEN PARTY. The indie/pop acts have been replaced. If anyone bought a ticket for NERVOUS TWITCH or THE MARITIME COUNTY, they will be refunded. A bargain at £15 advance with £1 from each ticket sale going to Macmillan Cancer Support. - Looking forward to it already. Tickets from: Jumbo Records – Crash Records – See Tickets – The Brudenell
