Boko Yout

Brudenell Presents... With support from - Fuzzycat Organ Quartet Boko Yout are outsiders infiltrating the mainstream. The Swedish four-piece, fronted by vocalist and multidisciplinary artist Paul Adamah, combines post-punk urgency, wiry funk grooves and raw alternative rock. Onstage, their world of music, film and fictional characters becomes an immersive live experience: rhythmically intense, theatrical and unpredictable. Following a fully sold-out UK headline tour in February and summer appearances at Latitude and WOMAD, Boko Yout return to the UK and Ireland for a seven-date headline tour in November 2026. With support from BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Radio 1, alongside coverage from DORK, The Line of Best Fit and Louder Than War, the band have steadily built a UK audience drawn to their restless sound and arresting performances. Released in September 2025 via independent label Hoopdiggas Recordings, their debut album GUSTO unfolds through a series of surreal therapy sessions with the fictional Dr. Gusto. Exploring identity, ego, anxiety, sexuality and artistic freedom, it pairs pop instinct with art-school unpredictability. Songs such as “9-2-5”, “GUSTO” and “DEMOLITION MAN” channel those ideas into elastic basslines, propulsive drums and explosive release. Live, the chemistry between the four musicians drives everything.
