BEYOND COLOUR. BOTANICS

This month, our inspiration will be Harry Gruyaert, the street photographer, who uses colour as the main focus of interest to tell his stories. It is described as :”**reality through colou**r”. His use of colour goes beyond aesthetics. I suggest we use colourful objects as the starting point of our pictures. We don’t have to copy his style exactly, but be influenced by his work. Colours: autumnal, but also people and objects, all in context. While we are there, let's take in the newly reopened **Palm Houses.** These Victorian Glasshouses have been closed for several years for restoration, we'd love to see them again. The Botanic Gardens are free but if you want to see the Palm Houses, you must book your own ticket online. I suggest booking a **1:30pm slot**. htpps://rgbe.org.uk I have been told that photography may not be allowed in the Palm Houses, but that may have changed by the time we are there.
