Free Flamenco Workshop — Kensal Rise & Queen’s Park

By popular request, flamenco is coming to our neighbourhood! 💃🕺 Join me, Maika, for a **free, welcoming flamenco workshop at Harris Lowe Academy**, introducing my new local classes for the Kensal Rise and Queen’s Park community. As a Spanish flamenco teacher and local resident, I’m delighted to bring us together through dance. Come on your own, with friends or as a family — everyone is welcome, and no previous dance experience is needed! We’ll explore flamenco rhythm, clapping, simple steps and expressive arm movements in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It’s an opportunity to try something new, meet neighbours and enjoy dancing together. **When:** Monday 12th October 2026, 6:30–8:00 pm **Where:** Harris Lowe Academy **Cost:** Free — booking required **What should I wear?** No flamenco shoes or special outfit needed! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in. **Coming as a family?** Please reserve a place for each person attending, including children, so we can manage the studio’s capacity. Children should attend with a parent or carer. You can also find out about the new regular classes and share your interest in future adult and children’s sessions. **Questions?** Email [hello@flamencowithmaika.org](mailto:hello@flamencowithmaika.org) Visit flamencowithmaika.org **Flamenco for everyone — in our neighbourhood!**
