🪑 ***Why don't you take a seat? Because you may not like where this conversation is going!*** 👋 **Hey guys!** Twenty years ago, one television programme turned an ordinary suburban house into one of the most uncomfortable places imaginable. Now, **Lance Oppenheim** is taking us behind the cameras to revisit exactly what happened. The film is set in **2006**, taking us **behind the scenes** of the hugely successful **To Catch a Predator**, hosted by fame-hungry **Chris Hansen**. Hansen and his team stage hidden-camera sting operations, using online decoys to lure suspected sexual predators into a wired house. But as the show becomes a TV phenomenon, the production itself descends into moral decay. **THE MEETUP:** The plan is to meet in town for a **Sunday social before the film**. Then afterwards, we’ll get together to share our thoughts, while it’s still legal, including our **reviews** and **[Letterboxd](https://letterboxd.com/movieroadhouse/)** scores. **I’ll update the final details and exact times as we get closer to the date,** so keep an eye on this page. So, let’s check out this strange little **docufantasia**and see where the truth ends and the fiction begins. **See you guys then!** **Tom** \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- 👉 **HEADS UP** * If you **sign up** and later can’t make it, please 🙏 **drop us a quick message** (or change your RSVP).
