**Alchemy: An Introduction to the Symbolism and the Psychology** ***by Marie Louise von Franz*** This book presents alchemy as a symbolic system through the framework of Jungian psychology. It approaches alchemy as an early form of depth psychology, using symbolic imagery to process change and conflict in a way that allows for reorganization into coherent integration. This reading will establish a foundation for understanding the symbolic language of alchemy. Using this foundation, the group will be able to engage more deeply with more advanced material in future sessions. **During this meeting, we will cover Lecture 9 (Aurora Consurgens - European Alchemy).** The discussion will focus specifically on the text. **Please complete reading prior to attending and participating.** **book link [HERE](https://tinyurl.com/2jypf4sw) or [https://tinyurl.com/2jypf4sw](https://tinyurl.com/2jypf4sw?utm_source=luma)** **free version [HERE](https://tinyurl.com/738cb6st) (use first slow download): [https://tinyurl.com/738cb6st](https://tinyurl.com/738cb6st?utm_source=luma)**
