Organizer’s description

Writing Sapphic - ATL presents a Writing Sapphic Take Over in ATLANTA, GA! * Location: ATLANTA, GA * When: November 22nd, 2026 - Sunday at 10:00AM-1:00PM. This event is to encourage Sapphic Writers to write! To take some time out of their busy schedule to type on that keyboard or pick up that pencil. So if you are working on a novel, a poem, a short story, editing a written work, or even if you want to work on the Monthly Feedback Circle prompt - join us for a little body doubling. It will be a very chill event where we all just meet up at a coffee shop or brewery and write. We do not have the space reserved, so come and sit wherever available and write and say hi to check in :) - We will try to snag a spacious table! Socializing is welcome, but also don't feel pressured if you want to just write alongside others. I recommend arriving at an appropriate time (first ~15-30 minutes to greet/find seating so it's less intimidating—I always greet/say goodbye to everyone and always find a large table/space where we all can fit to never exclude anyone). This will be a monthly reoccurring event at different coffee shops/spaces. You can also utilize the space to brainstorm, or get help when you feel stuck! Of course support the Venue and purchase a drink or a treat. I do not control or do further research on whether the venue is cashless. I do try and make sure there is parking and space for all of us as much as possible.
