Organizer’s description
Join us Fridays at 3pm and Saturdays at 12pm for one hour of structured writing time with prompts created by the Brooklyn Poets faculty staff followed by an optional 30 minute share out at the end. Prompts will vary week to week and will explore various themes and forms. Visit the registration link below to learn who is leading this month’s group! You can choose to use our prompts or bring your own work and enjoy the structured time. Note that these do not include instruction (aside from the given prompt) or critique — students looking for critique should register for one of our multi-week workshops. This writing group is free and open to public. If you have the means to do so, you can donate with your online registration or in-person to help support our programming.
