Organizer’s description
For this month’s workshop, we’re reading Jessica Brody’s Save the Cat! Writes a Novel and putting its story-structure method to work. Read the book beforehand, then bring a story you’re writing—or an idea you’d like to develop. Together, we’ll work through the fifteen beats and begin building our own beat sheets. Come with a project at any stage, from a brand-new idea to a messy work in progress. No pages to submit and no critique—just a chance to study craft, talk through ideas, and leave with a clearer map for your story. 🌦️Location or dates liable to change with inclement weather. 📋ATTENTION: Meetup groups are expensive, therefore this club’s official home will live on Partiful . Please, follow the group there. I will only keep the club up here for a limited time.
