Women Shaping AI Keynote: If You Don't Tell Your Story, AI Will

If You Don't Tell Your Story, AI Will: Five H.U.M.A.N. Moves for Women Building What's Next Opening keynote, Women Shaping AI Day at Seattle AI WeekSally Revell, founder of The SWELL and GenerativeHuman.ai If you want to connect: Sally Revell | LinkedIn & Instagram Since January, about 850,000 women have left the US workforce, more than double the number of men (NWLC via IBTimes). At the same time, starting something has never been cheaper. A first draft, a landing page, a financial model, a prototype: what took a team and a quarter now takes a laptop and a weekend. That leaves a lot of experienced women at a fork. Some were pushed. Some were pulled. Some are choosing. Whichever one you are, the next move is yours to make, and the story of how you got here is yours to tell. If you don't, a layoff announcement, a LinkedIn algorithm or an AI summary will tell it for you, and it will tell the boring or incorrect version. Sally opens Women Shaping AI day with H.U.M.A.N., the framework she uses with AI and tech leaders: H: Be honest about how you got here. Pushed, pulled or choosing.U: Unlearn the ambition story. The ambition gap is a support gap.M: Make the machine your co-founder, and be clear-eyed about its limits.A: Adopt it anyway. Nobody handed you the tools. Pick them up.N: Narrate it yourself. If you don't tell your story, AI will. Who it's for Women who have been laid off, restructured or managed out. Corporate leaders weighing a move.
