Organizer’s description

Join BBR Academy and guest speaker Alec Morgan from the AI Safety Awareness Project for a free, in-person event in our Pioneer Square office. We'll watch a video and learn together, then discuss our opinions. You’ll leave with a better understanding of AI and your own ideas about this transformational technology. AI companies are racing to build systems that can improve themselves, even though they admit that they have zero confidence in being able to control them. We'll watch a video of journalist Ezra Klein explain the recent HuggingFace incident and how it might be a warning shot the public should pay attention to. Join a friendly, beginner conversation on the current state of AI and where we might be headed. You’ll come away with enough information to build your own opinion about AI. Registration required. Refreshments provided.
