Not long after, she found the dance that accompanied the drumming and knew immediately, upon seeing it, that she would dedicate her life to the study and teaching of this amazing art form. She has taught in many places and currently works with mostly children and adults with disabilities. What Maria loves most about this dance is how free it allows her to feel, as well as how it uses every part of the body in a very natural way. It is good for the body, mind and soul.She has felt many times in life, that this is what she can always return to for sanity, positivity, and a direct way to celebrate life.
