Surrounded by woodland and countryside, it’s a lovely starting point for our escape from London. ⭐ 🏘️ We’ll finish in Godalming, a historic market town beside the River Wey, with timber-framed buildings, attractive old streets and welcoming pubs. ⭐ 🕘 Meeting point: Under the clock on the main concourse at Waterloo Station at 9:15am. ⭐ 🥾 The walk: Approximately 5.5 miles, following a linear route through woods and villages to Godalming. ⭐ 🍽️ Pub stop: We’ll finish with food, drinks and a chat at a local pub. ⭐ 🚆 Train fare: Approximately £21 return with a one-third discount using a Network Railcard or GroupSave. ⭐ 💷 ORGANIZER FEE £8, payable by cash or contactless on the day.
