Vacations

Vacations’ fourth album, Pursuit of Anything, marks a new chapter for the Australian indie rock quartet. Building on the dreamy guitar-pop of 2024’s No Place Like Home, the album finds the band embracing a richer, more intricate sound while reflecting on growing older, changing relationships, and the pursuit of happiness. Written and produced by frontman Campbell Burns with longtime bandmates Jake Johnson, Nate Delizzotti, and Joseph Van Lier, Pursuit of Anything is Vacations’ most collaborative and refined record yet. Inspired by the band’s diverging lives across Australia and the U.S., it balances wistful introspection with the effortless hooks and warm guitar textures that have defined Vacations’ sound. With over 3.5 billion streams, double-platinum-certified hits, sold-out world tours, and performances at major festivals and late-night television, Pursuit of Anything sees Vacations entering their next era with their songwriting at its most assured.
