Documentary Film: "Silent Flood" (2025) - 1 hr 30 minutes Language: Ukrainian (English subtitles) Director: Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk Along the Dnister River in the West of Ukraine, a small, deeply religious and pacifist community lives in harmony with nature. Its members farm with horses and carts, bake their own bread, and gather for candlelit dinners in a village without electricity. When Russia’s full-scale invasion reaches this remote community, their peaceful way of life is transformed. Men are called up for military service, families are separated, and their pacifist beliefs are challenged by the realities of war. Directed by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk, the Silent Flood offers a visually striking and rarely seen perspective on how Russia’s full-scale invasion has affected Ukrainian lives, revealing the fragile existence of a community caught between its traditions and a world transformed by war.
