Organizer’s description

Roundtable Breakfast at TAAN Start your morning in Humboldt Park at TAAN, the new Thai restaurant everyone is talking about. We’ll get a look at the space, hear from the chef and owner behind it, and spend the morning in conversation with peers over coffee and breakfast bites. What to expect A look around the space and a conversation with Chef/Owner Chanita Chayaluk Coffee and breakfast bites A short educational talk from one of our authority members Small group roundtables where we’ll brainstorm and problem-solve around a real question from Chanita’s business LocationTAAN2759 W Augusta Blvd, Chicagotaanchicago.com Meet the chefChef/Owner Chanita Chayaluk is a native Thai-Chicagoan with a big appetite for Thai cuisine and a bigger passion for bridging local produce and original Thai recipes. Her love of Thai food took her from a career in education and mental health to a Thai culinary diploma at Le Cordon Bleu in Bangkok. She still returns to Thailand often, believing Thai cuisine is something that can’t be learned in one lifetime. Through pop-ups and supper clubs, Chanita introduced Chicago to dishes rarely seen in the city. With TAAN, she celebrates Thai cooking through every season with an ever-rotating menu. Crain’s Chicago Business columnist David Manilow put it this way: “My new favorite Thai restaurant in town is Taan, and it’s not even a close call. It just opened, and I’ve been twice and enjoyed each experience immensely.”
