The Three Tenors phenomenon was born in Rome in 1990, on the eve of the World Cup, when three superstar tenors brought opera to a vast global audience and created one of the best-selling classical albums of all time. This programme captures that same sense of occasion, celebrating the power, romance and excitement of the great tenor repertoire.
