AI summary · From the event listing

Celebrating World Philosophy Day For centuries, there has been a conflict between science and the sacred in the West. Yet, for the great ancient civilizations, this dichotomy was entirely unknown. To investigate the physical world (science), to contemplate the different dimensions of reality (philosophy), and to connect with nature and the divine in a mystical way (spirituality) were not separate disciplines − they were simply different paths towards the same goal: to understand and live in accordance with the cosmic order. This talk will explore how we could step beyond artificial dichotomies and come closer to a holistic worldview, where these approaches are not incompatible, but express different parts of our human nature which are all valuable to create an experience of the whole. After the talk you are invited to join us for a buffet of food, drinks and philosophical conversation - all included. This is a paid event - tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite, link found here.
