Sunday Volley @ Sloan’s

Where: Sloan’s Lake Park (Southwest Side. Off Sheridan Boulevard and 17th) When: Starting at 9:00 am Description: This is an equal parts volleyball and social group. Come for the volleyball and stay for the friendships. We play intermediate-level volleyball with the goal for consistent bump-set-spike, and we are welcoming of newer players that want to work to improve their game. We play every Wednesday evening. Culture: Our culture is important at West Denver Volleyball. Our goal is to create a group of people that are welcoming and friendly. A) In the first few games of the day, we ask that before you serve that you give your name, and answer the fun fact for that game. Just follow along, the experienced members will lead the way. B) If you have room and someone asks to join your team, please say yes! Remember this is a MeetUp and not league play. We value connection upmost at this meet up. We strive to be inclusive of all people and volleyball skill levels. We value equally both the social engagement / meeting people as well as playing good volleyball. At times you will be playing with people that may be at a different skill level than you (higher or lower). We ask that you be patient if this is the case, and have fun! If you have the desire to provide tips to someone at a lower skill level, please ask permission first and consider waiting for an intermission to allow for demonstration/practice.
