Spotlight: Niia +

+ American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets from Thu 10/22 10:30AM through Sat 10/24 11AM. The Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome acclaimed artist Niia to the Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater for an evening discussing the release latest project, V, her creative process, and more, with a special performance. Niia (pronounced Nye-uh) is a prodigious Italian-American musician with a jazz vocal & classical piano background. Her unparalleled voice, paired with fully realized songwriting, makes her the epitome of timeless elegance and contemporary soul. Jazz, at its core, has always been about freedom. With ‘V,’ Niia makes a bold return to her jazz roots — a personal exploration of that freedom that pushes beyond genre lines. Guided by the question, “Can I be a modern-day jazz singer? What does that sound like?” — ‘V’ is her answer: a raw, progressive, provocative reinterpretation of the genre, caught somewhere between elegance and defiance. ‘V’ is the sound of a modern-day jazz singer rewriting the rules in real time.
