We're setting the mood with dim lighting and moody music, then settling into our usual reading blocks and small-group conversation, with just enough spooky flavor to make it feel like an event. No costumes required. No jump scares. Just atmosphere, a good book, and the particular pleasure of being pleasantly creeped out in good company. Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially.
