Speed social begins at 7pm. 🎟 Free tickets. Limited spaces. Back for more conversations and connections The Short Exchange is back at Be At One for another evening of meeting new people and making connections across Manchester. Whether you’re new to the city, looking to expand your social circle or simply fancy a different kind of Friday night, this is an easy way to get talking. Come on your own or bring a friend. We’ll help you settle in and get the conversations started. How it works You’ll take part in a series of short, timed, one-to-one conversations, rotating between people throughout the session. We’ll provide prompts to help break the ice, so you can relax, share a few stories and discover what you have in common. Think speed-dating energy, with the focus on friendship and social connection. Just bring yourself and a little curiosity. You'll have prompt cards if you so wish. Once the rounds finish, stay for the live DJ afterparty. Catch up with someone you clicked with, continue a conversation or enjoy the music and atmosphere.
