South Mountain Hike (4.75 Miles) and Coffee/Lunch

Hi everyone! Let's enjoy a nice post-Halloween hike! Join us for a 4.75 mile hike in the South Mountain Reservation. As always, we will go at a moderate pace and won’t leave anyone behind. But please be considerate of others if you don't think you will be able to hike at a moderate pace for the duration. We will meet in the parking lot near the dog run on Bear Lane (off of Crest Drive). Our hike will start and end at the highest points in the reservation where we will able to experience some really nice views. We will also hike down to the Rahway River and go past the waterfalls! Please arrive about 10 minutes before the start time. After the hike, for those who want to, we will grab a coffee or some food at a local diner/deli/coffee shop. We will pick the exact place based on group size and preference. For the hike, I strongly recommend hiking shoes (or boots) and, of course, water. Bug spray, poles, and other equipment are optional.
