"Joshua "SNAGZ" Valdovinos is a Berwyn based muralist, artist, and instructor with 20 years of experience creating art in and around his community. Rooted in hiphop and streetart culture, his work moves between sketchy, expressive cityscapes and his "Universe Within" series, exploring the connection between people, energy, and the world around us. SNAGZ works across murals, canvas, custom cars, live painting, and community art projects. Beyond his own studio practice, he teaches street art, and breakdancing to kids through the Oak Park Education Network, using creativity as a way to build confidence, connection, and self-expression. He also stays active in his community through volunteer work with the Berwyn Public Art Initiative, helping bring more art and creative opportunities into local public spaces.
