Shut Up & Write!® Saturdays at Brooklyn Art Haus, WILLIAMSBURG

We gather, grab a beverage or a snack, run intros for the first 15 mins or so then we do as the group name states, we shut up and write for a timed 1-hour block. We may continue writing as time/space permits. No matter what you're writing you are welcome. No critiques. No sharing. No pressure. Just focused writing time alongside others doing the same. After the session, you're welcome to stick around to chat, connect, and build your writing community. Wherever you are in your project, you're not doing it alone—this is your space to write. This group meets weekly - Wednesdays 5:30-7pm and Saturdays 11:15am-1:30pm. *Please note in my absence the bar/cafe staff act as host and can get you started. So always feel free to show up and write. HOW to find me - We are usually stationed in the back of the cafe (The Mouth) or the front entry lounge of the theater space(Wednesdays). When in doubt always ask the barista/bartender they're always amazing. ABOUT THE SPACE:Bring your headphones, earplugs whatever you need to make your atmosphere cosy.
