Rioja Reserva 2019 Vintage Tasting at Christos' House

The 2019 vintage was officially designated 'Excellent' by the *Consejo Regulador DOCa Rioja.* The natural balance and structure of the wines make 2019 Rioja Reservas exceptionally long-lived, and they are just entering their drinking windows. Christos ran 2 tours to Rioja earlier this year and some of the wines in this tasting were sourced from the wineries we visited. So if you weren't able to join the tour here's your chance to find out what you missed! In this tasting we will start with a couple of bottles of a white Rioja as the welcome wine. Then we'll taste 8 different red Reservas all from the 2019 vintage. Most of the wines will be from the sub-regions of Alta and Alavesa, with one from Oriental. Numbers will be limited to 12 people seated round one table, so almost a bottle of fine wine per person. During the tasting a selection of fine cheeses, pates, and other food will be served. If you cancel by Tuesday 10th latest AND there is someone on the waitlist who pays for your place you will get a refund of £35.
