Organizer’s description
The LabChip is a high throughput capillary electrophoreses instrument that can be used to analyze proteins, DNA, and RNA. The instrument reports results for sizing, concentration, purity, and quality. You can save time by switching from running gels to using the LabChip which can process a 96 well plate of proteins in an automated and hands free manner in only 90 minutes. At this training, users will become familiar with the instrument interface and how it analyzes samples. We will go through the sample preparation and chip preparation together. After samples run, we will collect the data and head to a conference room for training on the LabChip Reviewer software which is used for data analysis. Agenda: 10 am – Instrument overview 10: 30 am - Prep samples and chip together 12 pm – Break for lunch while samples are running 1 pm – Collect data and cleanup instrument 1:15 pm – Head to the conference room for software training (1st Floor Titanium Conference Room) If you’d like to attend, please reach out to Rachel Shegog (Field Application Scientist) to discuss which assay you’d like to try and discuss samples.
