AI summary · From the event listing
Increasingly people are talking about "our ancestors." Whether the folks being named are members of our family of origin or part of the larger family of those who shaped our nation, neighborhood, or some corner of the world important to us, we are remembering in these moments that we stand on others' shoulders. And we are inspired, regrounded, humbled, and emboldened by this act of remembering. Come as we remember some who we have loved and lost and the ancestors we want to name and call into our presence this Sunday, we celebrate the thinning of the veil. Please bring a photo or object that reminds you of your loved one. You may also bring a baked good or other food offering. Bring something that feels meaningful to you to add to the ofrenda we will create in the Sanctuary and in the Gallery together. Rev.
