Organizer’s description

Bay Area-based ensemble Ragamenco explores the connections among North Indian classical music, flamenco, jazz manouche (aka gypsy jazz), and improvisational traditions through the musicians' use of sarode, tabla, voice, guitar, cajon, piano, and double bass. In the cozy surroundings of the Red Poppy Art House, where Meetup members have previously seen this ensemble, this seven-piece band's music can be easily heard and fully appreciated. SEATING is General Admission, mainly on folding chairs. TICKET PRICE ranges from $29 to $45 (including online service fees), depending on discounts (seniors and students) and when you buy your ticket. NOTE that there is an Early Bird discount on ticket purchases; those tickets seem to be selling fast, so I'm posting this event earlier than usual.
