Platform Engineering Meetup: Agents broke the balance (& how to fix it)

For years, writing code and validating it moved at roughly the same pace. Agents broke that balance. Code now arrives faster than pipelines and reviewers can absorb it. Without validation that runs where agents actually work, more AI output means more failed changes, slower recovery, and ballooning compute and token costs. Come connect with peers who are rebuilding feedback for the agent era, and swap notes with engineers solving this in production. Bring the bottlenecks you're stuck on, the fixes that worked, and the ones that didn't. ⛳ During the meetup, we'll discuss: Why AI code generation has outpaced validation, and how that gap hits change success rates and recovery times How pairing a robust delivery pipeline with sub-minute checks where agents write code improves efficiency and cuts wasted tokens How running only the tests a change affects, with one quality standard across any IDE, model, or version control system, keeps compute focused on what matters 🎤 Your hosts 🎈 Agenda: 5:00 - 5:30 PM: Welcome and networking 5:30 - 6:30 PM: Panel discussion + audience Q&A 6:30 - 7:00 PM: Networking with drinks 🍸 and bites 🥗 If you're attending GitHub Universe in San Francisco, this meetup is the perfect chance to connect with fellow builders. Don't miss it!
