Organizer’s description
Pants + Practice Love wearing yoga pants everywhere? Same. But what if you could make your own custom pair of leggings and practice in them the very same day? It’s a why-not-both situation. Learn how to draft your own leggings pattern, cut stretch fabric, and sew your pair together on an overlock machine. Then put on the pants you just made and join us for a Grounding with Gravity yoga practice — the perfect way to wear-test your brand-new creation. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle. Spandex and elastic are provided, but feel free to bring your own fabric if you prefer. One yard is suggested, and 4-way stretch works best. If you feel like shopping beforehand, Spandex House is highly recommended — and they often offer a discount for cash payment. Beginner level — $34 About your instructors: Sewing: Jennifer Taves, CostumegasmBorn and raised in Ridgewood queens , Jennifer Taves is the true first born Brazilian creatrix of her family in NYC.
