PIECE BY PIECE: Mosaic & Tea A workshop with Lyora Pissarro & Jenny Toth. Greenpoint studio. Choose the color. Place the piece. Assemble an image, a pattern, a design — and settle into the meditative rhythm of mosaic. Mosaic is an ancient art form that covered walls, floors and entire rooms in colored tile, building compositions that have outlasted the buildings they were made for. Every piece on the table carries a little of that history into your hands.
