Oldham Mic Check Standup Comedy Workshop

If you have ever been curious about trying your hand at standup, or if you are already working on a set and want a space to test out new jokes, come join us for our Oldham Mic Check workshop. This is a low-pressure, supportive environment where we focus on the craft of writing and the mechanics of delivery. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking to refine your material, this session is all about learning from one another and finding your voice in a friendly setting. We keep things informal, so there is no need to show up with a finished routine. We will spend some time discussing what makes a premise work, workshopping individual bits, and helping each other sharpen our punchlines. It is a great way to meet fellow comedy enthusiasts in the area and get comfortable being on stage before heading out to an open mic. If you are interested in joining us, please grab a spot on the RSVP list so we know how many chairs to set up.
