Join us for our next NSLondon hosted by Depop! We have two great talks lined up, plus time to chat and meet others in the community. We can’t wait to see you there! RSVP early to secure your spot. If your plans change so you can’t make it, update your RSVP so others can attend. 💬 Talks: Andrei Simvolokov — *“Building an AI assistant with Foundation Models”* Buttons, forms and endless settings screens are quietly being replaced by a little text box that says “Ask me anything”. The future of mobile might be one chat bubble, and I’d like to make sure we’re the ones building it before it builds itself. In this talk we’ll cover the basics of Apple’s Foundation Models framework: running an LLM on-device with no server bill and no user data leaving the phone, getting structured Swift types back with guided generation, and letting the model call into your app with tools. We’ll put those pieces together into an in-app assistant that can actually do things for your users, not just chat with them. No PhD required, just Xcode and a healthy fear of being replaced by the very thing you’re shipping. Vlad Alexeev — *“Remote Code Signing on Apple Platforms”* Code signing is essential for Apple platforms, but it raises a critical question: how do we ensure our private keys never leak? In this talk, I’ll share our journey to solving this challenge by implementing remote code signing using Apple’s CryptoTokenKit framework. 🕓 Schedule: 6:30 PM Arrival and check-in at reception.
