Monday Live + All Levels With drumming by Frank Lazzaro & crew! ✨ All levels welcome! ✨ One of the most important elements of Belly Dance is the dancer’s ability to make the music visible. Through an understanding of rhythm, maqam, melody, emotion, and cultural context, the dancer learns to interpret the music through movement. With live musicians, this becomes a remarkable conversation—musician and dancer listening and responding to one another in the moment, bringing the story and emotion of the music to life. Join me for this live drum-accompanied Belly Dance class as we explore movement, musicality, rhythms, and the dynamic connection between musician and dancer in a welcoming, supportive class environment.
