Organizer’s description

We’re a small group that gets together on Monday nights in a home in Cambridge to pray. We are Baha'is and leverage Baha'i prayers to connect with God. The group is half Baha'is, half people of all backgrounds. It’s pretty simple. Someone reads a prayer, someone else says one in their own words, someone reads a short passage from the Bahá’í writings. In between there’s quiet. You don’t have to say anything. Lots of people just listen the first few times. Sometimes we sing songs. After that we put the kettle on and hang out. The conversation usually wanders somewhere deeper. Last month it was what the soul actually is, and whether this life is preparing us for something. Sometimes we’ll pull out a passage and talk about what it means for how we live, or how we treat people. Honestly, praying every day is hard to keep up on your own. It’s easier with friends, and a lot of us have become real friends through this. We're in our 20s, so most people who come are around that age, but anyone’s welcome, whatever age and whatever you beleive. Mondays, 7:30 PM, Cambridge. RSVP so we know how many people are coming, we assemble down below and come up. you the address. The address in the location is right next door.
