Organizer’s description
This is a ride for beginners. All women and women-identifying riders are welcome for socializing and support, but this is an easy, beginner, getting-used-to-road-biking ride. Meet at Woodside Town Hall in Woodside. We'll ride north on Canada Road and return -- 15 miles, rolling terrain. Like all our rides, this ride is led by volunteers. Although this is a beginner level ride, participants should be comfortable with their bike (basic shifting and braking) and should be able to maintain a 10mph pace. While our ride leaders strive to support all riders and some one-on-one is available, depending on the size of the group, it may be impossible for the ride leader to ride with each rider.
