Organizer’s description
The Gateway to Lucid Living with Norma J. Burton & Nisha Burton Lucid dreaming is not reserved for the special few - it is a trainable skill, and a doorway into the deeper art of psychonavigation™: learning to move through your own psyche with clarity, intention, and skill. In this workshop, mother-daughter teaching team Norma Burton and Nisha Burton guide participants through the foundational practices that ancient cultures once used to work consciously with the mind and subconscious - practices our culture has largely forgotten, to our collective detriment. Participants will be introduced to lucid dreaming as an accessible, learnable practice, along with dreamwork, shadow work, and drumming journeys as complementary pathways into the unconscious. Together, these tools help build a working map of one's own inner world - supporting healing from past wounds, sharpening intuition, and strengthening discernment. Rooted in nearly thirty years of Norma's work in Buddhist practice, Jungian shadow work, and trauma healing, and brought into the present by Nisha's own extensive lucid dreaming and astral projection experiences, this workshop offers a rare intergenerational lineage of teaching - practical, embodied, and grounded in decades of lived experience. Norma J. Burton is a pioneering expert in complex trauma healing with over 40 years of counseling experience. She did M.A. and Ph.D. work at Berkeley's Graduate Theological Union, and M.Div.
