Organizer’s description
Whether you are an experienced calligrapher or simply curious about the flow of ink on paper, I would love for you to join us for our upcoming session on mastering the art of Chinese brush. This event is designed as a relaxed space to slow down, focus on technique, and explore the meditative qualities of traditional brushwork. We will spend the afternoon practicing foundational strokes, working with different brush pressures, and sharing tips on how to bring balance and character to your work. You do not need to be fluent in Mandarin or a professional artist to get a lot out of this session; it is open to anyone interested in learning the craft or looking for a quiet, creative way to spend a few hours in London. We provide all the necessary materials, so you only need to bring yourself and an open mind. If you are planning to come along, please do RSVP so I can make sure we have enough ink and paper ready for everyone. Registration is required and places are limited, so please put your name down at the link below. Head here to save your place
