Les Fincher: Photographing Laurie Anderson's Concert Film (Nov 12, 2026)

Hello Fellow NYC TAOP Members Join us at the Leica Store and Gallery on Thursday, November 12th, at 6:30 pm for an evening with photographer Les Fincher. Les shot the cover photography for Laurie Anderson's 1986 concert film and album "Home of the Brave," and he'll sit down with Leica Gallery Director Michael Foley to talk about his exhibition, "Behind the Scenes of Laurie Anderson's Home of the Brave." It is a rare chance to hear firsthand how he photographed one of the most inventive performance artists of the 1980s, and to see the work in person. It should be a good night for anyone into music, performance, or documentary photography.
