Learn Argentine Tango and build new friendships! - 6 weeks Beginner course

Learning Argentine Tango happens in a few phases, and the Beginner course is the one everything else is built on. It’s also the starting point for all of our higher levels. This course is built around the holidays: 3 classes in November and 3 in December. Each class runs a full 2 hours, so you get 12 hours of instruction and still have your Thanksgiving week free. In 6 sessions you will learn the Argentine Tango essentials: the tango walk (caminata), weight changes, the baldosa, rebounds, and the 8-count basic to the cross. You’ll also learn the difference between the parallel and cross systems. We’ll explain the essence of the tango embrace: how to connect and communicate with your partner without words, read body language, show your intention, and take care of the couple’s wellbeing. Partners rotate during class, so you’ll learn to dance with many different people.
