Organizer’s description

Join Mass Clean Energy Center, the LDES Council, and leading long-duration energy storage (LDES) companies for an interactive lunch and afternoon discussion on Massachusetts’s pioneering LDES procurement targets, the status of LDES technologies and how they support power grid reliability, affordability, and resilience. Explore why Massachusetts needs LDES and multi-day storage (MDS) to support local communities and state and regional energy needs. The program will feature market and technology updates, discussions on commercial mechanisms to encourage near-term LDES/MDS project development in Massachusetts, and opportunities to engage directly with LDES/MDS technology companies through company introductions and networking. Lunch will be served.
