Organizer’s description
Join us Saturday, November 7, for a morning photo shoot at the American Museum of Natural History. We will meet at 9:45 am at the Gilder Center entrance on Columbus Ave at 79th street, shoot the curved stone while we wait, and go in at 10. Inside, everything is handheld. PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES Technique Focus: We will bracket the bright atrium skylight, freeze butterflies in flight, shoot the dinosaur skeletons from below, cut reflections in the glass dioramas, and use a braced slow shutter so the crowds blur while the mounts stay sharp. Make sure to get an advance ticket & separate timed Butterfly Vivarium ticket for a 10:30 am slot. Tickets & Admission | American Museum of Natural History Itinerary: A pdf was created so if you get lost or you're late, you'll know where to meet us.
