The opportunity is to slow down and connect with the generous residents of this amazing forest, and discover greater kindness, space and open curiosity within. Lamar Blvd · Austin, at the paved trailhead off the first parking lot as your driving into the park from Parmer on Willow Wild. Look for me: I'm 5'7", have glasses, often carry a wooden cane, and have white hair that's either being its wild self or pulled up/back in some sort of twist. Inclement weather policy: If the forecast includes active or likely lightening or heavy downpour, then stay safe at home. I'll update the specific event page in those instances. All levels of walkers are welcome. The pace tends towards easy rather than speedy, and always accommodates whoever joins and the energy of the moment.
