Monday, November 16th at 6pm! With Karina Longworth IN-PERSON! Join host and creator Karina Longworth of the hit cinema podcast "You Must Remember This" as she presents a special classic Double Feature of two films (Alfred Hitchcock's I CONFESS and Vittorio De Sica's TERMINAL STATION) that accentuate the brand new season of YMRT titled "The Bisexuals" The new season of the You Must Remember This, launching on September 15, is called "The Bisexuals," and it’s about torch singer -- and accused murderess -- Libby Holman, and her sexually-fluid group of friends and lovers from the 1920s to the end of the 1960s, which included Montgomery Clift, Tallulah Bankhead, Josephine Baker, Nicholas Ray and many more. About I CONFESS: When a priest (Montgomery Clift) hears a murderer’s confession, he becomes bound by his vow of silence—even as circumstantial evidence turns suspicion toward him. Torn between faith and self-preservation, he faces public scandal and trial for a crime he cannot reveal the truth about. About TERMINAL STATION: An American housewife (Jennifer Jones) vacationing in Italy reluctantly decides to put an end to her brief affair with an Italian academic (Montgomery Clift). She flees to Rome’s Stazione Termini, where she bids him farewell, but he begs her to stay. The film’s plot is simple; its production was not. The troubled collaboration between director Vittorio De Sica and producer David O. Selznick resulted in two cuts of the same film.
