Join the Humanist Book Group for the Saturday November 14 book group meeting from 2-4:00 PM. This is our annual "Best Books You Read in the Past Year" session. We will gather over food and drink to share the titles of books we enjoyed over the past year. This annual event is always a great opportunity to learn about books that escaped your radar. Please limit yourself to three or four book recommendations, and be prepared to provide the facilitator with a written list of the titles and authors. A complete list of all recommendations will be sent after the event to all attendees. Yes, you can come if you have no books to suggest to the others. Bring food to share if you can. We will be meeting in the main Common Flame Building, where the Humanist monthly programs are held. So park right in front of the main building. The Humanists will be providing some food and drink for this event, but you are invited to bring a dish to share. It adds to the fun! RSVP to this Meetup or email books@jeffersonhumanists.org. This book group is sponsored by the Jefferson Humanists. (Find friends. Share Ideas. Do Good!) For more information about humanism see https://www.jeffersonhumanists.org. Upcoming Book Discussions: December 12 - Crossings: How Road Ecology is Shaping the Future of Our Planet by Ben Goldfarb Next year's schedule will be available by December.
