What you should know (food! fun! friends!) About the event: November's monthly theme is SPIRITUALITY AND STEWARDSHIP and how it intersects with the climate crisis. The third Tuesday of the month is our ACT night. We will have different action stations to practice different ways to interact with nature & how to steward it No experience needed! We'll give you all the guidance you need. Please do your best to arrive by 6:30! 6-7ish will be dedicated dinner + chat time 7-7:45pm will be a discussion with Hannah after 7:45 we'll move to choose-your-own-adventure action stations so you can make a difference before you leave More broadly: Soapbox Seattle is the city's most joyful community space for climate action. We gather EVERY TUESDAY same time same place (climate church?? lol) It's all ages Plant-based dinner is always included so you don't have to think about what to eat. We have our own lovely chef so the food is cooked with love from local and regenerative farmers No you do not have to be "a climate person" to come; you just need to be excited to meet people who share your values of caring about the earth/each other/wanting to breathe air etc. and no experience is required! There will be activities and programming! This is not one of those networking events where you pretend to be on your phone because you don't know what to do. All our events are sliding scale and if the litsed options don't work for you, you can request a reparative ticket here if you need one.
