AI summary · From the event listing
What you should know (food! fun! friends!) About the event: November's monthly theme is SPIRITUALITY AND STEWARDSHIP and how it intersects with the climate crisis. The second Tuesday of the month is our LEARN night Please do your best to arrive by 6:30! 6-7ish will be dedicated dinner + chat time, 7-8pm will be our expert panel with conversational breakouts, and 8-9pm will be choose-your-own-adventure peer learning More broadly: Soapbox Seattle is the city's most joyful community space for climate action. We gather EVERY TUESDAY same time same place (climate church?? lol) It's all ages, as long as your kid(s) can be respectfully quiet during any Q&A portions of the evening. We love kids and babies and have plenty of supplies for them. Plant-based dinner is always included so you don't have to think about what to eat. We have our own lovely chef so the food is cooked with love from local and regenerative farmers No you do not have to be "a climate person" to come; you just need to be excited to meet people who share your values of caring about the earth/each other/wanting to breathe air etc. and no experience is required! There will be activities and programming! This is not one of those networking events where you pretend to be on your phone because you don't know what to do. All our events are sliding scale and if the listed options don't work for you, you can request a reparative ticket here if you need one.
